Christina Nienaber-Roberts Is A Natural Fit With Stanford Who’s Who

Christina is a Registered Natural Health Practitioner, Certified Kripalu Yoga and Reiki Teacher, DONA Birth Doula Candidate, and Compassionate Companion to the Dying and the Grieving. Through Relax and Feel Radiant, she offers a variety of complimentary health care, as well as personal growth and transformation services including Yoga and Meditation classes, Sacred Movement sessions, Energy Work sessions, Holistic Deep Relaxation Massage, Birth Doula services, bereavement support, inspirational talks upon invitation, and various workshops.  She continues to write articles and present papers at conferences in this field and has won recognition for her work.  Christina has self-published two books and presents workshops on Preparing for - or Revisiting - a Parent’s Passing, based on them.  Although Relax and Feel Radiant operates out of The Heart Gate Mini Retreat Centre on the edge of Seal Bay in the Comox Valley, BC, Christina also presents at other facilities and offers distance sessions via the internet.

During her collegiate career, Christina earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Natal and BSc Honours and a Masters Degrees from the University of Pretoria in South Africa. During the 25 years she was working internationally as an Earth Scientist, she received awards for her work in electron microscopy and worked as a volunteer naturalist at museums in various countries.  During this period Christina published various scientific papers in reviewed magazines, presented papers at Earth Science conferences, and produced numerous popular articles about science, sustainability and other topics.  In addition she became an internationally published photographer and artist during this period. 

In 1999 a transformational experience shifted her focus towards Holistic Health.  She started Unlock the Healer Within in 2000, which in 2005 became Relax and Feel Radiant. Christina is a member of Natural Health Practitioners of Canada, Healing Touch International, Healing Touch Canada Association, Canadian Yoga Alliance, Kripalu Yoga Teachers Association, and DONA International Doula Association. She is also involved with Hospice and World Vision.
